Upper Macungie police and the Lehigh County Municipal Emergency Response Team were called to the Holiday Inn Express & Suites Allentown West on Tilghman Street in Allentown on a report of a man in "mental distress," around 10:40 a.m., they said.
The unidentified man who had been barricaded in a room eventually exited peacefully, according to police.
No further information was provided.
